The Studio Behind The Stories
It Started With a Love of Moldings & a Mutual Obsession with Floorplans
Stone House Lane was founded by two longtime friends with a deep respect for historic architecture and an eye for timeless design. What began as a series of conversations over floorplans and patina has grown into a studio defined by detail, trust, and quiet boldness.
We specialize in creative historic preservation — blending rigorous research, design intuition, and a curatorial sensibility. Our work isn’t about nostalgia; it’s about relevance and reframing your home for today.
With backgrounds spanning architecture, fine arts, and materials conservation, we approach each project as a conversation between eras. Whether just learning more about your historic home, revitalizing or repurposing a space, or uncovering original materials, our process is both deeply thoughtful and unapologetically design-driven.
At its heart, our studio is built on friendship — which means collaboration comes naturally. We listen carefully, design intentionally, and treat every space as a living archive worthy of beauty and longevity.
